Which GTA did you enjoy most?

GTA 2 was the one I most enjoyed. Didn't really enjoy the later ones. But looking forward to GTA V once it comes out.

I really enjoyed GTA IV, loved the implementation of the euphoria engine. I also had a good time with GTA 2 multiplayer

I really enjoyed San Andreas. Played it when I got my old PS2, and I think I spent months trying to get everything in that game, and I actually managed 100% completion

I second GTA II that was insane fun at late night LANs. The game was never the same once they made it first/3rd person. The graphics was always buggy, and the LAN play was gone. I tried one of the more recent versions and I couldn't even get it to run decently on my gaming rig. The amount of swearing in the game has also increased exponentially, and it's definitely not something that I find appealing.
