Windows 7 PC Restarting Itself Randomly.

Thing is guyz, this isnt a beta. Yes its not a legit copy, but its beta either.

BTW have you seen what the Ultimate edition goes for? that will take me 3 months to save up for.

Win7 Pro is more than enough, Ultimate is overkill. Also, the same applies not only to beta, but to Release Candidate copies (I know, mine did it too).

R1,200 for the Retail edition of Win7 Home Premium really isn't that much to ask. You can even get it cheaper if you get an OEM version with a limited number of activations. When you think that R300 is the average price for a game, then R1200 is not too much to ask for your Operating System.

Considering it's going to last you 3-5 years (Taking into account how long we used XP) it's really not a bad deal.

I agree and Win7 is the one OS i would actually spend that kinda money one. Oh well. Ill just save up and get it, until then PC will work in 2 hour sprints.

The way it hard-resets without shutting down properly can't be too good for your equipment either. :(

Dude... Thats just sad. I started laughing when i read the heading and knew it was an RC version of windows. Either load XP/Vista back or do the right thing and purchase (not download) a legal copy of Win 7.

What you can do is put your bios clock 1 year early and it won't restart just don't sent emails or such because it will look like you send them in 2009 "p

Needed to be sure it wasn't another vista. have every intention of buying a legit copy, already looking at prices.

I completely understand i made the mistake of buying windows Vista Ultimate Orignal in 64Bit, i never liked XP but in retrospect i should have just ran XP. Now i need to buy Windows 7, i actually used a final and its still very good so i am happy. I think you can pick the Ultimate for under R2000 oem.

Home Premium seems to hit a sweet spot with regards to Price vs Features.

BUT LOL @ the fact that this thread was created because of the RC cutoff :)

Read your first post and immediate knew that it was the build in restart for RC or even a pirated version.

Hope you have sorted it out now?

It's a RC version u have... sucks that it hard rests. Get the full version n before the hard rest breaks ur pc. Uhmmm... go to pcinternational they cheaper then most places 'http://pcint.co.za/components.php' they selling it for R1765 unltimate ed. vat included.
