World's fastest supercomputer usurps performance throne

For the first time since November 2009, a United States supercomputer sits atop the Top 500 list of the world’s top supercomputers

Almost as quick as my Overclocked Celeron 400 Flipchip.

I read about that computer like 2 months in popular mechanics. They are using it to perform stimulations on nuclear explosions If I remember correctly and it brings the processing time down from a month on their old system to about a week to process the whole thing. There were some mad numbers in that article, just one of the processors there is equal to 4 in a standard home pc and they have like 16 per rack. I will try find a link.
