Worth migrating XBOX Live Account?

Hi guys,

Is it worth it to migrate my UK XBOX Live account over to the South African store? I can't think of any benefits for doing so or drawbacks for staying on the UK store? However, when the XBOX Live stores start using currency it won't make sense to be on the UK store any more I suppose.

Watcha think?

I'd stay on the UK account until the points system is done away with completely. Im on the SA live service and boy did I regret the move at first.
Its ok now, just not nearly as content full as UK and US.

Don't even think about it. There's a lot of content that's available on the UK and US stores that aren't available for us using the ZA store.

I find that browsing the XBox Live website with my South African account also causes problems. Like pages that won't open and the website not always understanding that I'm a Gold user. The South African account is half baked and everyone should just stay away.

*edit*
Oh and the free games that Gold users get? Well sometimes we get different ones to the rest of the world.

And I've had it that there's "specials" displayed on the front page when I log into Live on my XBox where if you click on them it says that an error occurred or something like that. It's games that they advertise for us even though it's not available.

I have dual UK/SA accounts so I can get the stuff in the SA store in ZAR or with vouchers in the UK store. I agree with the other guys that the content is not up to par when you compare it to the USA or UK stores.
You don't need to worry about the removal of the ms points system though, if that's the main reason you want to migrate. You will still be able to buy prepaid codes or vouchers with the currency value of the country you're in. You can confirm this by sending a mail to one of the vendors over here like mspoints who have said they will still be supplying codes for the new system.

It's usually politics and other stuff that prevent gamers from getting what is expected.Hopefully since video gaming is becoming a big income bringer to the country things will change.

I think gaming causes more money to leave the country as they're all imported. Also the movie industry is huge and that hasn't stopped the FPB to act any less like assholes.
