WOW patch update help

So as many of you know I've just purchased WOW and I'm in the process of updating. I've downloaded a patch which contains the following files -

WOW-partial-1.MPQ
WOW-partial-2.MPQ

Could someone please explain to me where I should copy these files so that I can continue to update the game.
 
you get a blizzard updater thingy with those 2 updates, just paste them into ur wow directory and run the blizz updater, should work fine

Must be a dud download because the updater.exe was not included in the rar file. I downloaded the .exe version of the update and it ran perfectly.

Now only 2.6 gigs to go...

Hi, I am not a WoW guru or nothing, but I notice nobody has replied yet...

To be able to play wow on the current official servers you do infact need patc 3.3.0 even if you dont have WOTLK.
 
Thanks lildeath and Magnarmalok, I've just queued all the patches in my download manager. I'm getting there one little meg at a time...
 
Thanks so much everyone, I've downloaded everything up to the latest patch. I've back it up on another computer a USB and on disc. I never want to update something so huge ever again :)
