XBOX Controller buttons issue!

Nope it still isn't working.

The controller lights are still just flashing but the receiver's light is solid.

If I try to manually update the Controller's drivers, I get a Code 10 error.

so the receiver light doesn't flash when you let it search for a signal?

It does. They both flash, then the receiver's lights stay on and don't flicker whereas the controller won't stop flickering.

Is there some how or way I can clean my controller?

I mean apart from rubbing a damp cloth over it. The problem is my son played with it and I think some sticky stuff has gone into the grooves. Now the buttons still work, just sometimes you really have to push it, like the left trigger/bumper.

Any suggestions?

I think it just unscrews, in the back there are screws, just screw them out and it should come apart

Yeah, it's pretty easy, unless it's a wireless controller. Those are a pain in the ass to open up if you don't have the right tool.
