Xbox One achievements for watching TV?

Some achievements on the xbox 360 did exactly that, as I've stated before, I enjoy getting achievements, I like having the record. Its not like achievements are new thing, just look at the military. Pointless grind? Why does it concern you how people enjoy their gaming? One thing that is pointless to you isn't pointless to someone else. I think loads of people would think gaming in general is pointless.
I regards to the TV focus, TV is boring? Seriously? you don't watch any TV series? And the focus on TV, i believe more will come out at E3 in regards to games. We all know it plays games, there are something like 15 exclusive titles lined up, what else did we really need to know that we cant wait to find out at E3?

Ok so take GTA IV for instance. 100 glowing Pigeons hidden around Liberty City. To find and shoot all of them would take days on end. Once you shoot your last Pigeon after how many countless hours of searching a little bleep sounds and states you got an achievement.
That is hardly worth the effort. Pointless grind but...............if it unlocked a huge ass pigeon that you could fly and shit on Liberty City citizens heads, well that is totally worth it and not a pointless grind.
Yes, it actually does concern me how people 'enjoy' their gaming because I know what a complete waste of time achievement hunting is. I see right through that bullshit, they're just preying on peoples OCD man.
I have zero clue about what you are trying to get at with the military comment though.
Ok got me there with the TV series, I watched till season 3 of the Walking Dead and Season 3(I think) of Game of Thrones. Already sick of them both but didn't watch them on TV either. Watched them on PC

:| ... some people would think a giant bird is jsut as pointless as an achievement. The 100 birds thing has nothing to do with the achievement. Some people actually enjoy exploring the game and collecting them (Assassins creed had a collection thing that didnt have an achievement tied to it, yet peoples till collected). Just because you don't doesn't mean they should have it in the game, you seem to be very narrow minded. (If I don't enjoy it, it shouldn't be there). I didn't collect the birds in GTA, but I also don't think they should remove it because Bradbear says its pointless. Stop worrying about people enjoying games in ways you don't.

What im unsuccesfully trying to say is that achievements should do more than what they do currently. Currently I feel that they are pointless. Yes I watched some episodes of 2 series but stopped out of boredom. I dont watch television programming therefore xbox one and tv acheivements dont interest me at this stage.
