Xbox One, PS4 pre-order prices, launch dates appear

Lets hope that Amazon is being very liberal with their price estimation here. If their price is even close to what it's actually going to be then I doubt I'll find it worth it to buy one of the new consoles at launch.
Either way I think we here in sunny South Africa are going to fork out a kidney to be able to pay for one of these lovelies. With our insane duties and the exchange rate in the state it is at the moment things do not boad well for us.
 
I have been saying this from the start. Everyone is super happy about the tech upgrade, but those upgrades come at a price.
I have a feeling that the PS4 and Xbox One will retail for nothing less than R6000 at launch.
There is also another slice in this pie that most people don't realize. The consoles are now "upgradable" so I expect them to have a much shorter life cycle, In fact I reckon in 5 years time there will be a upgraded Xbox One to replace the current one and same goes for the PS4.

R9000 I could build you a pc that would crush a PS4 and Xbox one :cool:
