No the actual price will be either over or exactly R8k. This price is a launch price as set by Microsoft SA to compensate for the fact that we're getting the console late. The price will increase probably after the holiday period, some time in January I would imagine. And at that price it will stay until the first price cut.
 
I can confirm that we will be getting the XBox One X before the 22nd already. I had a dream about it.
