Pokemon fever has infected South Africa, with gamers willing to pay an extraordinary amount of money for Pokemon memorabilia.

BidorBuy recently revealed that “Pokemon” was the most searched term on the site in the last week of July, overtaking other popular search terms including ” iPhone, laptop and PS4″.

Currently, there are more than one thousand Pokemon-themed listings on bidorbuy, from cards, video games, and movies to action figures, soft toys, caps, mugs, and so on.
