The AMD Radeon RX 470 has officially launched worldwide, and is available at a number of stores in South Africa.
The Polaris-based graphics card offers performance comparable to that of Nvidia’s Maxwell-based GeForce GTX 970 at an international recommended retail price of $179.
This international MSRP refers to the 4GB reference version of the GPU and not the 8GB or aftermarket versions of the Radeon RX 470 graphics card.
Currently, the only two South African retailers listing the Radeon RX 470 prices are Wootware and Rebeltech.
