Jon St. John, the man behind the voice of the man Duke Nukem, has revealed in a Tweet that he has been working on a voice pack for Heroes of Newerth.
“Forget flowers. This news rocks: I’m the voice of a new pack for [Heroes of Newerth]. Coming soon. Hell yeah!” Tweets St. John.
The announcer pack will be purchasable through the Hon Store and it is rumoured to be going live this Friday (18 February 2011). Our guess is that it will go for around the same price as the other available announcer packs – US$10 (±R72).
Duke calling the plays throughout a match of HoN does sound like a pretty bad ass idea, and likely a funny one to boot. Until the pack is released, we won’t know what to expect, but HoN developer S2 Games will likely be releasing some previews on their Facebook page over the coming days.
