Major Nelson has issued the statistics for the top played games on the Xbox LIVE and Games for Windows LIVE services over the week of 7 February. The Call of Duty franchise continues to dominate Xbox LIVE, with four titles in the top 20, and two in the top spots.
It’s interesting to note that games with multiplayer modes that some sceptics considered to be a poor attempt at bolt-on value are also appearing in the Xbox LIVE list list, perhaps a testament to their successful multiplayer modes. Those games are Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood and Dead Space 2.
