Sony has announced that the sequel to the 2009 PS3 exclusive sand-box action title, inFamous, will be released in North America on 7 June, 2011.
No European release date was announced, although we can assume that it will be within a few days of the US release, and therefore we can probably expect it in SA on the following Friday, 10 June.
A Hero Edition has also been confirmed, which features a statue of protagonist Cole, a replica of his sling pack and a mini-comic. Additional goodies have been confirmed, but will very from retailer to retailer. It remains to be seen if SA will be getting the Hero Edition.
