Bandai Namco has officially unveiled the first DLC expansion for Dark Souls 3, titled Ashes of Ariandel.
The expansion’s announcement was accompanied by a trailer showcasing the new area’s frozen and harsh landscape.
In addition to a new area and storyline, Ashes of Ariandel will introduce new spells, armour and weapons.
Dark Souls 3: Ashes of Ariandel will be available from 25 October 2016 and will be priced 15$ on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
Dark Souls 3 fans can also purchase the Season Pass for R269 on Steam, granting them access to both Ashes of Ariandel and a second upcoming expansion, expected early in 2017.
