Two Worlds II SA launch confirmed

23 February 2011

Action RPG Two Worlds II has had a troubled path on its journey into the UK and South Africa. Not only had business decisions held the title back by months, but shipping problems also halted the progress of retail copies. The game has been available on Steam for a while now, but we all love to have a real box in hand.

Finally we have some good news – Two Worlds II should be launching at South African retail on the planned date of 25 February 2011. This was confirmed via local distributor of the game, Apex Interactive. A representative of Apex Interactive told MyGaming that the shipment of Two Worlds II was scheduled for arrival yesterday, meaning the game should be on South African shores right now.

Barring any unforeseen delays (damaged Chinese freight shipments I’m looking at you) Two Worlds II should be making it into stores by Friday (25 February) for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. Of course, with its history, it would be wise to check with your local retailer if they indeed have the game in stock before pitching up and asking for the game.

Apex Interactive also hinted that there will be limited quantities of special editions of the game arriving on SA shores, and these will be available for all platforms.
