You can now buy a R219 Expansion Pack for Early Access game ARK: Survival Evolved

2 September 2016

A R219 expansion pack for the unfinished ARK: Survival Evolved has officially released on Steam.

The expansion titled Scorched Earth adds a new desert area as well as new creatures, tools, weapons, and more.

This has naturally upset a number of people, as the ARK base game is still in an unfinished state and many are concerned that developers Studio Wildcard used funds and development time on this new expansion rather than addressing the base game’s issues.

Despite all the controversy, the game is currently sitting at the top of the Steam’s bestsellers list.

Do you think developers should be called out for these practices or are gamers free to do whatever they wish with their money? Let us know in the comments below and in our forums.
