Minecraft could be the first game to support full cross-play functionality between Xbox One and PS4 owners.
This follows a (hastily deleted) tweet from the official Minecraft Twitter account showing cross-platform support between the two consoles.
It was subsequently replaced by a tweet with a completely new image.
At this point we’re not quite sure if it was a genuine error or if Minecraft cross-play is coming and someone accidentally leaked it too soon.
This isn’t the first time cross-platform play between the two consoles has been promised, with cross-platform capability reportedly ready for Rocket League but denied by Sony.
