MWEB lists new gaming servers, including Homefront, Crysis 2

MWEB recently launched Bad Company 2 servers as the first wave of a renewed push into the game server hosting segment. A number of months ago, MWEB launched their own Stem content mirror, which adds a further attraction to MWEB for gamers.

Nathier Kasu, Head of MWEB Digital, said “we are still working on Battlefield Bad Company 2 Vietnam as well as planning for 2 major releases later this month (Homefront and Crysis 2).”

“Currently, we are allowing the max number of players on all titles but this will change as we actively manage the more popular games to ensure we don’t run into capacity issues. The environment is virtualised, so we have the ability to dial-up (and down) capacity where needed,” explained Kasu.
