I tried the Occulus Rift at a Flight Simulator show in the UK this weekend and it is incredible. Makes your stomach turn when you roll or bank very steeply and then look to the side. I was a bit disappointed by the low resolution though (yes they had the latest commercial version) and there is a bit too much pixellation to my liking, making some of the instruments hard to read. Think I’m going to wait for the cheaper, lighter, sharper (and wireless) next version before i take the plunge, but it is already awesome.
