Trine 2 publisher Atlus U.S.A. has announced that the release of Trine 2 has been pushed back to “late Summer 2011.” For those living in the forgotten hemisphere of the Earth, this means the game should be launching around the Q3/Q4 mark.
Following in the footsteps of the original, Trine 2 is a high-fantasy, physics-based action platformer with a new cooperative online multiplayer mode. The title will be launching for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC as a digital download.
To soften blow of a release date setback, Trine 2 developer Frozenbyte has released a new gameplay trailer titled ‘Alluring Adventure.’ The trailer provides a glimpse of the gameplay environments and physics-based gameplay that can be expected.
