This video will crash your iPhone

23 November 2016

A new five-second video circulating the Internet is causing Apple iPhones to crash when viewed on the devices, reports The Verge,

The MP4 file affects all iPhones running iOS 10.1 and 10.2, causing them to lock up and freeze after hitting play.

The video is currently doing the rounds via iMessage, so be wary of opening any messages from unknown sources.

“The only way to recover from the crash is to hold the power button and home button at the same time to perform a hard reset,” stated the report.
