Hey, do you like donkeys, dungeon bashing, and free stuff? Hold onto your Greater Hats of Hatting then, because Valve and Square Enix have announced that all Dungeon Siege III preorders on Steam will be bundled with some value-added goodies in the shapes of Dungeon Siege I and II.
Both games will be made available immediately as digital downloads, and include Steamworks features like auto-updating, Achievements, Steam Cloud support, and downloadable content.
“Providing Dungeon Siege I and Dungeon Siege II free of charge through Steamworks is Square Enix’s way of showing appreciation to the fans of the Dungeon Siege franchise,” says David Hoffman, executive producer for Dungeon Siege III in the official press release. “Selecting Steamworks to be integrated into the upcoming title made perfect sense as we wanted to provide the best possible gameplay experience for PC gamers and long-standing fans of the series.”
Dungeon Siege III drops 17 June, on PC, Xbox, and PS3.
