A gamer has already beaten Pokemon Sun and Moon – using just Magikarp

29 November 2016

A Japanese gamer has already beaten Pokemon Sun and Moon using just Magikarp, reports Forbes.

Posting a series of pictures on Twitter, the Japanese gamer showed his Magikarp reaching the Hall of Fame.

In order to prevent the Magikarp from evolving to a much more fearsome Gyarados, the player must have purposely prevented it using a Everstone.

Magikarp has become a bit of a running joke as one of the least useful Pokemon in the lineup, so beating the whole game with it only adds to the fish Pokemon’s mystique.

The Pokemon typically only has one damage-inducing ability, meaning this feat is not only silly but also incredibly arduous.
