Humble Indie Bundle #3 starts today, includes Trine

12 April 2011

The Humble Indie Bundle guys have announced their next big deal, and it might just be the biggest deal yet.

They’ve 2-upped with Finnish dev Frozenbyte, and packaged five games – featuring Trine, Shadowgrounds, and Shadowgrounds: Survivor, as well as two extras, including the source code to an unfinished project called Jack Claw, and a confirmed preorder for upcoming title, Splot.

Much like previous Humble Indie Bundle promos, you can choose to pay whatever you like for this one, with the proceeds going to the developers themselves, and/or the Child’s Play and/or Electronic Frontier Foundation charities. The first three games listed are already valued around $50

The last promo banked $1,825,893.47, comprising 232,855 purchases, with the top purchaser paying $6,132.96 for the lot.

The bundle will be available for PC, Mac, and Linux and is scheduled to drop over on the official site at 9:30 AM PST, or around 7 PM here (assuming I counted that properly on my fingers).
