Following the announcement trailer at this weekend’s PSX event, the first story details have leaked, reports IGN.
Speaking at a a panel for the newly-announced game, Naughty Dog’s Neil Druckmann said that “Ellie is the star” this time around.
He also revealed that Part II takes place several years after the first game, with Ellie now 19 years old.
Druckmann also noted that the tone of the game would be even darker than the first.
While the first game focused on love and loss, the sequel is a counter to that – it focuses on “hate”.
