Super Mario Run will cost R149 for unlimited access

Super Mario Run will be available to download on iPhone and iPad on 15 December in South Africa.

Once the game has been downloaded, players can try the first level of the game for free.

There is then an optional one-time payment of R149.99 which will grant unlimited access to the rest of the game.

iStore will be going all out for the release ans will allow fans to meet and get a photo with Super Mario at selected iStores.

Customers can also visit any iStore from Wednesday, 14 December 2016 to test drive the game.

Below are the times you can test the game out for yourself.

15 December 2016:

  • 10h00-12h00 Sandton City
  • 14h00- 16h00 Mall of Africa

16 December 2016:

  • 10h00-12h00 Clearwater
  • 14h00- 16h00 Cresta

17 December 2016:

  • 10h00-12h00 Menlyn
  • 14h00- 16h00 Woodlands
