Might & Magic Heroes VI delayed

21 April 2011

Ubisoft has announced that its PC RPG/Turn based strategy sequel, Might & Magic Heroes VI has been pushed back from its planned 22 June release date to 8 September.
The announcement was communicated on Ubisoft’s facebook page

“Hello everyone, As you might have read it on the official Might & Magic Heroes VI website and forum, the game release has been postponed to September 8th.”
“We want to ensure that the game quality will go beyond your expectations!”

Black Hole Entertainment producer Erwan Le Breton has previously stated that Might & Magic: Heroes VI will stay true the series, but at the same time is aiming to mix familiarity with innovation. Roughly half the creatures available in Heroes VI will be new to the series. The game is a prequel to Heroes of Might and Magic V’s single player campaign, taking place four centuries earlier.

There will be five playable factions; Haven, Inferno, Necropolis, Stronghold and Sanctuary. Might &Magic Heries VI is being released exclusively for PC.
