DICE has added additional server support for Battlefield 1, launching servers in South Africa, Hong Kong, and Dubai.

Battlefield 1 servers in Johannesburg will launch on 21 February 2017 between 10:00 and 15:00.

The developer announced in a forum post that the demand for server support in South Africa required it to deliver better geographical coverage across the region.

“We are thrilled to announce we are bringing online game servers in these three regions for our Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC players,” said Alexander Hassoon, Producer at DICE.

“We are committed to delivering the best experience for all our players worldwide and continue to monitor latency levels and geographical coverage for the Battlefield franchise.”
