Netflix is rolling out offline streaming support for its Windows 10 desktop app, Windows Central reports.

Windows 10 users will be able to download certain Netflix shows to their local storage for offline viewing using the app.

According to the report, the selection of shows available for offline viewing mainly consists of Netflix’s in-house content, but is expected to expand in the future.

Offline viewing is useful for travellers and users with limited bandwidth.

Netflix has not rolled out the update to Xbox One or Windows 10 Mobile.
