Xbox One X – South African pricing and specifications

Microsoft has revealed the South African pricing for its new Xbox One X 4K gaming console.

The Xbox One X landing page lists the South African price as R7,499. No release date is listed.

The company unveiled the console at E3 2017, and said it would launch in the US for $499 from 7 November 2017.

The Xbox One X aims to deliver true 4K gaming to the console market, thanks to its 8-core custom AMD processor and 6TFLOPS graphics card.

According to Microsoft, the console boasts 40% more processing power than any other gaming console.

Xbox One X owners will be able to play exclusive games in native 4K resolution, and current Xbox One games will run and look better on the new console.

The device also supports the HDR10 display standard in addition to AMD’s FreeSync technology.

    I’ll buy one eventually, I’m a big Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo fan :). Does not matter on what system as long as I enjoy the games. Well except for PC of course…
