In news that probably won’t shock anybody, it turns out BioWare is already shopping around for a Dragon Age III dev team.
“I’m looking for exceptional environment artists to join me at #BioWare Edmonton, Canada to work on #DragonAge3 #gamejobs #jobs #3D #artists” tweets Alistair McNally, senior director of creative development at BioWare.
Well, this is what happens when the first and second games are successful. While the sequel might have prompted some rather divisive opinions, it’s still managed to maintain a 79 aggregate over on Metacritic. Which also happens to be the same score My Gaming’s very own James “Elf Lover” Etherington-Smith awarded the game.
BioWare has previously hinted that a third game might include multiplayer of some sort, with lead designer Mike Laidlaw telling Eurogamer that, “Long-term that’s something we have to consider, because obviously multiplayer is something that’s a huge undertaking, it presents technical difficulty. And frankly it’s something that if done, has to be done really well, otherwise it feels very tacked on. So we’ll have to make any decision about that within that context.”
