Dungeon Siege III demo announced

24 May 2011

Publisher Square Enix has announced that Xbox 360 owners will get an early pre-release demo for the upcoming hack and slash action RPG sequel, Dungeon Siege III on 31 May.

PC and PS3 owners will have to wait a little longer, as the demo will drop on Steam and PSN on 7 June.

We recently got some hands on time with the game, and while it doesn’t look set to go smashing any moulds, it manages to be an altogether likeable dungeon crawler with some gorgeous visuals. Dungeon Siege III may be just what the doctor ordered for those desperately waiting for Diablo III to be released either later this year or early next year.

The game is due for local release on 17 June, and will be available on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
