RED has revealed its Hydrogen One smartphone, which features a holographic display.
The company said the Hydrogen One features nanotechnology that switches between 2D, 3D, and holographic multi-view content.
The Hydrogen One will support VR and AR content, and includes a built-in algorithm which enables a surround-sound experience.
The smartphone will also include a modular data bus, and RED said it will release modular attachments for the device – including a camera capable of capturing holographic images.
RED said its Hydrogen One will be available in 2018 and is available for pre-order.
The aluminium version is priced at $1,195, while the titanium version costs $1,595.
