PlayStation Plus games for August revealed

It’s that time of the month when we find out what free games PlayStation gamers will be getting for their PlayStation Plus memberships.

Well, next month is lining up to be a cracker, with the under-appreciated Just Cause 3 arriving free of charge, along with the Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag standalone experience, Freedom Cry.

If last month’s slightly slower-burning releases left you craving something a bit more bombastic, Just Cause 3’s tongue-in-cheek, over-the-top destruction will fill that void.

There are also some smaller, indie games which will become available for download, including the part game That’s You, along with PS3 titles Snake Ball, Downwell, and Super Motherload arriving for PS3 gamers.

These titles will be available to download from 1st August, meaning you’ve another few days to download July’s titles:
