Overwatch Summer Games update coming soon

3 August 2017

Overwatch game director Jeff Kaplan has launched the Summer Games 2017 event.

Kaplan said that new skins, sprays, and other cosmetic items will be available, and players will be able to unlock the cosmetic items from the previous Summer Games event.

Blizzard has also changed how the event skins work, allowing players to purchase new Summer Games skins with in-game currency.

The Summer Games update will also bring back the Lucioball game mode, with a few gameplay tweaks and new arenas.

The update will roll out on 8 August for players on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
