Sony has officially confirmed the launch title list of its whatever-it’s-called next gen portable console. Again. Just in case you forgot or something. January is just about forever ago in gaming terms.
That’s according to a post over on PSPGweber, which lists the following games prepped for launch:
• Uncharted NGP
• Little Deviants
• Call of Duty
• Lumines NGP
• Sonic Generations
• Mortal Kombat
• Lego Harry Potter (Years 5-7)
• Pro Evolution Soccer 2012
• Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition
• F1 2011
• Hot Shot Golf Next
• FIFA 12
• Wipeout
If recent, as yet unverified reports are anything to go on (and they sometimes are), Sony is planning to release the new handheld later this year in Japan, and everywhere else in 2012. Expect to hear a lot more about it over E3 next week, including whether or not it’s actually, seriously called the “PlayStation Vita”.
