Oculus will permanently lower the price of its Rift bundle to $399.
The Rift bundle includes two Touch controllers, two sensors, and six free apps – including Robo Recall, and the Medium and Quill creative tools.
The Rift headset is only available bundled with the controllers and can be purchased from the Oculus website.
Recommended PC specifications for the Rift include an Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 or better graphics card and a quad-core processor.

I see Evetech now offers the Vive for R14,000. Why would anyone bother, when you can buy the Oculus rift and controllers from Amazon for around R7,500 (which includes shipping and import taxes)!!??
