Top Internet service providers on Steam from South Africa

South Africa accounted for 0.2% of the total data traffic downloaded from Steam in the past week.

According to Steam’s statistics, South Africans downloaded 405.7TB of data from the platform over the past seven days – at an average rate of 6Mbps.

Steam offers 32,215 titles in South Africa. Its catalogue of available games, excluding mods and downloadable content, sits at 18,214 titles.

SteamSpy reported that over the past two weeks, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive was the game with the highest number of players in SA.

    So interestingly there are 10 times more Ubuntu users than there are South African PC gamers. That really puts things into perspective
