PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is set to leave Early Access in late December.

Its developers announced the release of the completed game in a livestream during Paris Games Week.

As it leaves Steam’s Early Access programme, the game will receive its 1.0 patch – which includes a new desert map, 3D replays, and various gameplay changes.

The Xbox One version of the game will launch on Xbox Game Preview on 12 December, with the console version of the game slightly different to the PC version.

The game’s developers said each version would have its own roadmap, but they aim to make them as similar to each other as possible.
