If you want a free Windows 10 assistive technologies upgrade, you will need to action it before the end of the year.

Microsoft said the offer to customers who use assistive technologies to upgrade to Windows 10 at no cost expires on 31 December 2017.

Microsoft officially ended its free upgrade to Windows 10 for Windows 7 and 8.1 users on 29 July 2016.

For those who did not upgrade in time, however, there was still the option to upgrade to Windows 10 using the “assistive technologies” option.

Until recently, there was no expiry date for this free upgrade.
