SteamVR coming to Windows Mixed Reality

Microsoft plans to bring SteamVR games to its Windows Mixed Reality platform this month, reported Rolling Stone.

The SteamVR preview programme is curerntly available to developers and allows virtual reality headset owners to experience a large library of games.

Microsoft told Rolling Stone its SteamVR preview will become available to Windows 10 users with mixed reality headsets on 15 November.

You need to have the latest version of Windows 10 installed to access the SteamVR preview programme, and you will need to own VR titles on Steam to play games using your Windows Mixed Reality headset.

SteamVR preview will launch as an open beta, as there are a number of bugs still present in the platform.
