Square Enix’s upcoming PlayStation 5 exclusive Forspoken has been delayed.
On Twitter, the game’s developer Luminous Productions stated that the 24 May release date has been moved to 11 October to allow for further polish.

Forspoken was initially announced in March 2021 and is a new IP from Luminous Productions.
The story follows the journey of Frey, a New Yorker, who is thrown into a tumultuous fantasy world filled with magic and monsters.
Frey is faced with the daunting task of saving this strange world from a spreading corruption with the aid of a talking armband and newly acquired magical powers.
The PlayStation 5 Exclusive features fast-paced next-gen magic-based combat with a high degree of fluidity and spell customisation.
