Capcom has announced a new digital event on Tuesday, 15 March, to reveal new Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak details.

The event will take approximately 20 minutes and will start streaming at 16:00 on the official Monster Hunter Twitch channel.

The livestream will reveal new details about the upcoming expansion, including more information about the new monsters and gameplay.

Monster Hunter Rise was initially released exclusively on Nintendo Switch as Capcom’s response to Monster Hunter World’s unavailability on the platform.

However, in January, Monster Hunter Rise was released on Steam to critical acclaim, with over 8 million copies sold worldwide.

Monster Hunter Rise featured a different story with new gameplay mechanics, like the ability to use Wirebugs to enhance attacks and navigate the world faster.

The game is set in a new Japanese-styled world and includes a host of fresh monsters to face off against.
