Everything announced during PlayStation’s March State of Play livestream

PlayStation’s State of Play livestream took place yesterday at midnight, during which a slew of new games and content updates for existing titles were announced.

Here’s a summary of everything that was announced during the event.

Exoprimal

Capcom announced a new IP heading to PlayStation, Xbox, and PC in 2023.

The trailer shows that the game is set in 2043 and involves players donning Anthem-like exosuits to blast dinosaurs back to the Jurassic period.

Ghostwire: Tokyo

Ghostwire: Tokyo has received a new action-packed trailer ahead of its release on 22 March.

Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin

Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin has a new demo available that you can download from the PS Store ahead of the full game’s release on 18 March for the PS4 and PS5.

Forspoken

The PS5 exclusive Forspoken has a new trailer showcasing more combat gameplay to get you excited for its release on 11 October.

Gundam Evolution

The free-to-play FPS Gundam Evolution isn’t a new game as it was released on PC in 2021, but it is officially coming to PlayStation later this year.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection

TMNT: The Cowabunga Collection will include 13 TMNT games for you to replay the greatest hits from your childhood and will be out later in 2022.

Gigabash

Gigabash is a top-down four-player Kaiju Brawler featuring destructible environments that will arrive later this year.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R was released back in 2013 for the PS3, and we will be getting an updated version on PS4 and PS5 in Q3 of 2022.

Trek to Yomi

Trek to Yomi is a Samurai side-scroller with supernatural elements which should be arriving in Spring 2022 on the PS4, PS5, and PC.

Returnal: Ascension

The PS5 exclusive Returnal is getting an update that will add a new campaign co-op mode and survival mode in which you have to face waves of enemies as you progress up a tower.

The DioField Chronicle

Square Enix has announced a new fully-3D strategy RPG coming to PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and Nintendo Switch later this year.

Valkyrie Elysium

Valkyrie Elysium will be the latest entry in the Valkyrie Profile series and looks like it will be an action RPG filled with magic and monsters.
