Your Epic Games Store achievements can now be made public

5 April 2022

Epic Games has updated the ‘My Achievements’ page on its games store to make the achievements you’ve unlocked publicly viewable.

This is the latest iteration of the game launcher’s achievements page since its launch in November last year.

Those who prefer not to have their achievements available for everyone to see can instead switch their achievements page’s privacy level to “Only Me”.

“You have control over your account’s privacy settings. Overall settings can be applied to your account, limiting your viewers to one of four categories: Public, Friends of Friends, Friends Only, and Only Me,” said the update page.

“Anyone visiting your page will be able to see how many achievements you’ve unlocked, the games you have Platinumed, and your XP, right at the top of your page.”

Epic also plans to implement ratings and polls in upcoming Epic Games Store updates.

The polls will occasionally appear after you’ve played a game, and the answers you select will “provide other players with information about the game on its store page.”

The answers will also give a game a community rating and will help to populate Epic Games Store’s category pages and generate new custom categories.

Changes are also planned for the store’s notifications — Epic Games will implement a Notification Center to centralise all the different alerts to one place in the top right corner of the store.
