Nintendo announced via Twitter that Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is now releasing on 29 July.
No specific reason was given for the fast-tracked release as Nintendo simply stated that fans will be able to play sooner than expected.
The game’s trailer showcases a new storyline, characters, and battle system – which seems to be more refined than the one in previous titles.
For example, the new battle system allows players to team up with several party members during enemy encounters.
The Nintendo Switch exclusive and latest entry in the Japanese role-playing game series was originally announced during Nintendo’s February Direct event, and was given an original release date of September 2022.
The Xeno series started off on PlayStation 1 with Xenogears, then moved onto PlayStation 2 with Xenosaga, before jumping to Nintendo Switch with Xenoblade 1, 2, and 3.
Step into the vast world of Aionios in #XenobladeChronicles3 sooner than expected, now coming to #NintendoSwitch on 7/29!
