Capcom has released a digital event on Youtube that details some of the new mechanics that the upcoming expansion Sunbreak will bring to the game in June.
Included in these additions are the Skill Swap Ability and Follower Quests.
The Skill Swap Ability will allow the player to swap between weapon-based move-sets while on the go.
The Follower Quests are new single-player activities that allow pairs of players to team up with in-game NPCs to battle monsters together while fleshing out the game’s story.
The expansion’s flagship monster is the Elder Dragon Malzeno, but the game also includes three others: Magma Almudron, Aurora Somnacanth, and Seregios.
These new monsters will also see the return of certain status effects such as Bleed and Bloodblight.
Sunbreak will release on Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam) on 30 June.
