Ubisoft has revealed that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla – the latest game in the popular series – had more players over the past year than it did four months after its highly-successful launch.
This data was revealed in Ubisoft’s annual financial results for the last fiscal year and suggested that its DLC sales have been stronger than with previous titles.
These paid DLCs added Ireland and Paris to the game map and brought new quests and NPCs.
The game’s most recent DLC expanded to the Norse mythology realm of Svartalfheim, the Realm of Dwarves, and is an exclusively fantasy-driven experience.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla was also the first Assassin’s Creed game to earn more than $1 billion in revenue for Ubisoft.
