6 June 2022

While there are no upsets to the rankings, there are a few notable new entries that are sure to interest some.

Below are the top ten for the week of 3 June.

10. Stray

Stray is scheduled to be released on 19 July and is currently available for pre-purchase.

This makes its presence in the top ten quite impressive given the game isn’t even out yet.

Stray follows the adventures of a stray cat in a strange, cybercity as they attempt to unravel an ancient mystery through environmental puzzles and exploration.

Stray has not yet been released and therefore has no User Review score.

9. Sniper Elite 5

Sniper Elite 5 retains its presence on the top ten this week and even increases from its tenth position to ninth.

The fifth game in the franchise tasks players with saving the alliance from a new Nazi threat that could end the war.

The title also notably offers greater multiplayer options with even an invasion mechanic that allows for sniper duels between players.

Sniper Elite 5 has a Mostly Positive user review score on Steam.

8. FIFA 22

FIFA 22 appears for a third week in a row on the top ten but has dropped from its fourth spot to eighth.

The sports title is no longer being discounted so this could account for the drop and may see it disappear from the top ten altogether next week.

FIFA 22 has a Very Positive user review score.

7. It Takes Two

It Takes Two is a highly-acclaimed coop game that follows the struggles of a couple as they get turned into toys and must work together to return to their former selves.

The title won Game of the Year for 2021 at the Game Awards so seeing it in the top ten is not surprising.

It Takes Two has a Overwhelmingly Positive user review score on Steam.

6. No Man’s Sky

No Man’s Sky manages to stay in the top ten for another week and even increases its position from last week.

The space exploration game has been on sale for the past week week and this combined with its recently-launched expansion probably allowed it to retain its position.

5. Sea of Thieves

Sea of Thieves offers an exciting pirate multiplayer experience that allows players to sail the high seas, find treasure, fight each other and combat terrible sea monsters.

Sea of Thieves has a  Very Positive user review score on Steam.

4. Valve Index VR Kit

The Valve Index VR Kit, as per usual, is present in the top ten and has increased its ranking from last week.

The VR equipment bundle comes with Half-life: Alyx.

3. Elden Ring

Elden Ring, another consistent title on the top ten, once again proves its broad appeal as it maintains its third place position from last week.

Despite being three months on from its release, the latest FromSoftware game has continued to see massive success.

It will be interesting to see if it will be able to stay in the top ten until its first DLC is invariably announced.

Elden Ring has a Very Positive user review score on Steam.

2. V Rising

V Rising is shaping up to be another regular in the top ten and although it isn’t number one, its second place position is still very impressive for an early access title.

It has built a large and dedicated community thanks to its solid survival and base building gameplay, and this is only grow as more content is added.

It has a Very Positive user review score on Steam.

1. Steam Deck

The Steam Deck returns to the number one spot after being displaced by V Rising for a few weeks.

The portable PC from Valve has clearly been a great success for the gaming company and it will most certainly be in the top five of next weeks charts.
